- There are those who decide to skip this step and think that they can tattoo customers without proper instruction and equipment. These people are known as "scratchers" and are one of the main reasons why the tattooing industry is held in the negative light.

- I propose a solution to this predicament, a college for Applied Arts with a curriculum to be offered to those who are seeking to become a tattoo artist and those who want to renew their license and other professions that are out of the ordinary in art and require special classes.
